Actually what they said was the Destroyer Weapons were the only ones that COULD (different to the world WOULD) be in the HoM for the time being.
When players expressed the opinion they'd prefer more skins to be allowed in HoM, the suggestion was taken to the Dev Team.
Now you're getting a resolution to that request.
Never is a change a renege on the Anet business model. It's recognizing the ability to change to customer requests.

I lol'd when I read Regina's in game chat.
What's next - an "easy" button. oops, forgot about Ursan
If Tormenteds are in, there is a list that is not too long that should be included as well. In particular weps from elite areas game wide.
Guess hairdresser , etc are next. Way to go Anet, guess we just have to "whine" loud enough and long enough.
That they are doing it is a good thing, way overdue though. We were told that it was not something that was being looked at - see seperation of PvP - PvE skills.

I'm pleased Anet are allowing other weapons in the HoM other than destroyer weapons, mainly because i recently got myself a tormented longbow to go along with my tormented recurve.
I just hope they allow elite area weapons aswell, Urgoz's Longbow, Spear of the Hierophant etc.

I'm thinking this last bit.... End of Dungeon Greens of any kind perhaps? Only elite / Master's Dungeon greens?
While the tormented weapons certainly speak to the time and skill of many of the players who have them, I think thematically, they might be considered "out of place" in the Hall... Seems like the Hall could limit weapons to EoTN skins?
Someone somewhere speculated that the destroyer weapons were the foundation for the new game's weapons: their basic structure would reappear in GW2 weapons, in altered "skin" or form.
All that idle speculation aside... I want my eternal bow in my HoM.

D-weapons are cheap enough so that now a lot of people can get them. I still like most of them more than the tormented weapons.
Cool lava effect = win
Weird purple glow ...ehhhh
Plus that tormented shield looks like it's always ready to shoot out a beam of light or something at the bad guys. (Kinda like something out a giant robot anime) >_>
"BRB guys, I gotta go kill some bad guys" Pew, pew pew!

When I hear more weapons in Hall of Monuments, I can only think of one thing that could possibly come close to what could go in:
The Wintersday Candy Cane Weapons.

Tormented is worth like 100k now..... Thats about how much destoryers went for.
Don't bitch if you can't afford it.
I'm happy to see finally they are adding something that I would like to add to my HOM instead of that god awful destoryer sword.

I hope at least BMP, or anything classified exotic. Like the exotic skins( or whatever) you can unlock for PvP use.
I think blue chat is much cooler than purple

I don't really care about these 'new' weapons.
All I care is about actually filling my whole Hall of Monuments before Guild Wars 2 comes out.

Ah so the crying has already begun. Missed this post. If I could play Dev for a day it would go something like this...
"No more updates, no more freebies, and no more skill adjustments. Since all you spoiled brats can't seem to get the hint that Anet already has your money and they don't have to do crap all for you anymore. People should be grateful Anet does what they do. Most companies don't go to such an extent to please their fan base. PvP'ers & PvE'ers are all alike. Spoiled brats who "must" have the game played the way they see fit. I have an active list of individuals who are synonymous in this forum for being "elitists" and "care bears". Whenever an Ursan threads appears on this forum I "expect" these individuals to troll and they do. Whenever a thread with a bad build is open I expect these same individuals to promote their "1 and only optimized build" and flame. They always show up and never disappoint. Far too predictable if you ask me. It's as if the thread starters make these epic threads just to bait these people out.

Im guessing they will have some weps based in eotn, it wouldnt make sense to have a wep set from only one campaign or a wep set from each campaign.

I was more amused by the fact she is still getting used to being a GM, and using /.gm command sets. lollololol. That is cute on so many levels, which includes she herself and her funny quirks.
